Complaints Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
If something goes wrong, we want to hear about it. This page explains how to complain, what we will do, and what we cannot do.
1. What You Can Complain About
- A provider: a misleading listing, how they behaved, a safety concern, not turning up, or overcharging.
- A profile, listing or photo on the site.
- A decision we made, such as removing content or a profile.
- Mami Coker itself.
For requests about your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
2. How to Complain
Email info@mamicoker.com with "Complaint" in the subject. Please include:
- Your name and how we can reach you, such as your WhatsApp number.
- The profile you are complaining about: a link, or the name and neighborhood.
- What happened and when.
- Any evidence you have, such as screenshots.
- What you would like us to do.
3. What We Will Do
- Acknowledge your complaint. We aim to reply within 7 days. Complaints about safety, harassment or fraud come first.
- Look into it. We may ask you for more details and ask the provider for their side.
- Decide, and tell you what we found and what we did, as far as we can.
- If you are not happy, you can ask us to look again.
4. What We Can Do
- Talk to the provider and ask them to put things right.
- Ask a provider to change their profile or listing.
- Remove content, a listing or a profile, under our Moderation Policy.
The Moderation Policy explains how we decide what to do.
5. What We Cannot Do
We cannot make a provider refund you, redo the work or pay compensation. We cannot decide contract or payment disputes between you and a provider, and we cannot promise any particular outcome. If you want your money back, you may need to take it up with the provider directly or through the proper authorities.
6. If You Are in Danger or a Crime Has Happened
Contact the police or local authorities first. Then tell us, so we can act on the profile.
7. Fairness and Privacy
- Providers get the chance to respond, unless the situation is urgent or unsafe.
- We share only what is needed to look into the complaint. If we need to share your name with the provider, we will ask you first.
- No one will be punished for making a complaint in good faith. Threatening or harassing someone who complained breaks our Code of Conduct.
8. Asking Us to Look Again
If you disagree with our decision on a complaint, reply to us and say why. We will look at it again and give you our decision.
